We’re Stronger Together

On January 1st, 2025, Collins Home Family Ministries (CHFM) and SHINE for Your Future announced their merger. Kelly Ross, CEO at CHFM, recognized the two organizations’ shared passion for serving families and children facing hardship, and young adults who have aged out of foster care. Ross stated, “We believed that by combining our resources and efforts, we could make an immediate and significant impact in our community.”

Kelly Liston, who founded SHINE for Your Future in 2020, shared her excitement about the future collaboration, “Working together made complete sense. We knew God was up to something bigger than either organization could do alone.” Ross and Liston eagerly anticipate the years of fruitful collaboration ahead.

Collins Family Ministries will be the overarching ministry, and SHINE for Your Future will become part of the ministry service offered by Collins.

“Our merger is a win for CHFM, a win for SHINE, and ultimately, a win for our community! I have been doing ministry for a long time, and the level of cooperation is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. We all want what’s best for the community!” says Ross.
